Apple says "Pay Me To Get 802.11n on your MacBook"

Yep Yep, that's what Apple said that MacBook are all 802.11n ready however before you can use it, slash your money from your credit card to Apple first. Users are unware of MacBook that comes with Core 2 Duo processor and Xeon processor had been included a draft-N standard wireless radio except the 17-inch MacBook Pro running on a 1.83GHz Core 2 Duo processor.

However, before you can use 802.11n Apple requires you for an extra US$1.99 for the activation software if you had purchase Airport Extreme Base before. According to Apple spokesperson, Lynn Fox "is that generally accepted accounting principles requires the company to charge for significant feature enhancements when added to previously purchased products". So are you sure you want to unlock the "802.11n"?

That's annoying, I'd think that the company would just cut its losses and offer the service free, but I'd still pay it for the service. I mean, its only $2. Its pocket change.
