Hacked: Microsoft Windows Vista’s DRM Hacked?

Today as Bill Gates announced the launch of the newest and strongest ever Operating System “The Windows Vista” yet rumors has been spread all over the net that Windows Vista’s DRM has been hacked by Alex Ionescu. Alex Ionescu is a great guy with lots of experience in Operating System, active in NT Kernel Development, and his research paper has won a lot of rewards. Alex is now a student at University of Concordia in Montreal, Canada. He claimed that he has hacked through Vista’s Protected Media Path, a DRM that is designed to degrade playback of quality HD video that hasn’t been approved by Microsoft.

Though it has been hacked, Alex won’t release the tools that he used to hack the DRM because all mortals fears Microsoft’s Lawyers.
