Today, NEC announced their merge with Fujitsu and expanding their latest creation VALUESTAR and created VW990/HG. VW990/HG is a PC with a huge 32-inch LCD HDTV with WXGA resolution. VW990/HG features Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GEForce GO 7600, 800GB HD space, Blu-ray drive, audio in / out, and a hybrid digital / analog TV tuner to boot, four USB 2.0 ports, dual FireWire connectors, PCMCIA, flash card reader, gigabit Ethernet, 56k modem, VGA.
While on the laptop side, the 12-inch LaVie J laptop features Intel Duo U2400 processor, 120GB of hard drive space, Intel's 945GMS Express integrated graphics set, 2GB of RAM, dual-layer DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, SD / SDHC slot, PCMCIA, audio in / out, VGA out.
NEC also announced the price of the desktop along with Windows Vista for US$2989 to US$4150 depends on the LCD size and the laptop price is around US$1660.
